A Story from Ron Kanour

Not long ago Lelah and I were teaching a group of folks some of the “How To’s” of reaching out to those in their world. One of the things I communicated to them was that all around them in their neighborhood and their workplace there were people who did not know Christ, but these same people might be open to relationship with others. I also communicated that they would be surprised how many folks in their world actually are believers, but don’t go to church. Several of these folks weren’t sure that was a true statement. Recently, however, one of the couples invited several of their neighbors over for dinner. During the evening the discussion turned to spiritual things and they discovered all of these neighbors were believers, but none were involved in church. These neighbors did not leave their home until 2:00 am the next morning, demonstrating clearly their hunger for relational connection with other followers of Christ.

That's an inspiring story, Ron. We need to reach out to all of our neighbors.
