The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere, describes the various transportation options around Boston on the eve of a Revolution, specifically how many lanterns our spies would use to signify British troop movements. A few centuries later, we still try to navigate crazy traffic patterns to bring about our own Revolution: a movement of the Gospel! And we still seek to shine the light of the Kingdom in some dark corners of our city.

When my daughter worked in Boston, she took the 45-minute Commuter Rail train to Boston, followed by a 20-minute ride on the "T" (the Boston subway) to her office every day . At the end of the year, upon deciding to leave her job and move on, the engineer and conductor of the train gave her a free pass for the last two weeks. On her last day, a number of people on the train threw her a going-away party and took her out to dinner.
